Tendências de um crescimento agudo nos níveis de infecção da vassoura de bruxa (Crinipellis perniciosa), na cacauicultura de Medicilândia no Estado do Pará

Resumo
Mostra-se por meio da análise comparativa entre dois levantamentos com hiato de oito anos, a situação da Cacauicultura de Medicilândia no Estado do Pará, com destaque para a incidência da vassoura-de-bruxa. O primeiro realizado no ano de 1997 e o segundo em 2005. Correlacionaram-se os indicadores técnicos mais diretamente relacionados com o processo de convivência com a vassoura-de-bruxa do cacaueiro e os resultados revelaram uma ascensão nos níveis de infecção da doença.

Trends of an acute growth in the levels of infection of the witch broom (pernicious Crinipellis), in the cacauicultura of Medicilândia in the State of Pará

Abstract
It is shown through comparative analysis between two surveys with eight year-old hiatus, the situation of Cacauicultura of Medicilândia in the State of Pará, with prominence for the witches’ broom incidence. The first accomplished the year of 1997 and the second in 2005. It was correlated the technical indicators more directly related with the coexistence process with the witches’ broom of the cocoa tree and the results revealed an ascension in the levels of infection of the disease.
