This study analyzed the micro-production chains of agroextractivism in the community of Braço (Almeirim-PA), identifying challenges and proposing improvements for local sustainable development. The methodology was a mixed survey with 55 families, using interviews and workshops. The results indicated farmers with low levels of education and high residential stability, with their main income coming from retirement, supplemented by agroextractivism. Despite the agricultural tradition due to economic necessity and subsistence, individual marketing through middlemen predominates, with low membership of cooperatives and modest and seasonal income. It was concluded that strengthening local agroextractivism requires government support, community organization, overcoming infrastructure challenges and qualified technical assistance to improve management, access to markets and sustainability
