Abstract

This paper aims to diagnose the characteristics of intelligent cities recognized by the inhabitants of Taubaté – SP. For achieving this purpose a quantitative and descriptive research was conducted using a closed and individual survey questionnaire for data collection in a population sample adequate for a confidence level of 95%, with 5% as a margin for sample error. The procedure for data analysis was the medium weighted ranking of the six dimensions that composes the intelligent cities. Finally, we conclude that the inhabitants of Taubaté do not recognize it as an intelligent city.
