Network analysis using scientometric metadata was applied to elucidate the main research trends related to the field of knowledge identified as women's social innovation, based on geopolitical criteria. Bibliometric information was organized into six groups: publications originating exclusively from the United States, international articles with US co-authorship, articles from the Anglosphere excluding the US, articles from the BRICS bloc, articles exclusively from Latin America, and articles from the rest of the world. The search yielded 546 publications on this topic in journals indexed in the SCOPUS bibliometric system from 1971 to March 2026. Network analysis based on the degree of thematic centrality by country groups yielded the following results: a) the US was responsible for 25% of the total activity; b) the output of the BRICS countries on the topic equaled that of the US; c) domestic and international trends in US research differed in thematic emphasis. d) Three themes of high centrality for the Anglosphere without the US were absent for the BRICS, and e) themes central to Latin America and the rest of the world were tangential for the Anglosphere, including the US. It is concluded that scientometric analysis is a useful tool for documenting trends in research on female social innovation with a geopolitical emphasis.
